Charming stay with a twist
The coffee bar in the hotel serves delightful specialty coffees and fresh croissants, perfect for starting the day. Plus, the front desk staff, especially Alex and Mira, were incredibly helpful in providing insights about the neighborhood.
However, the lack of an elevator was a bit of a challenge. The steep stairs could be an issue for those carrying heavy luggage or with mobility issues, making the second and third floors a test of endurance.

The staff were very helpful and provided us with useful recommendations.
My stay was marred by several issues. the room I was given was quite small and lacked cleanliness, which was incredibly disappointing. Additionally, the absence of an elevator made accessing my second-floor room a struggle, especially with heavy luggage. Noise from the bar across the street was persistent, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

missingWrote a review on Sept 05great locationhelpful staffcomplimentary breakfastsmall roomlack of elevator
The location of Le Coach stands out, as it's just a half-block from the Berri-UQÀM Métro station, giving quick access to various parts of Montreal. The staff were welcoming, always ready to help with local tips. I loved starting my mornings with complimentary coffee and bagels, which were a nice touch. However, the room I stayed in was quite small, and one major downside was the absence of an elevator, making the climb to the second floor challenging, especially with heavy luggage. It felt like a hassle going up and down those steep stairs. The air conditioning didn’t provide much relief during the hot nights, which made sleeping difficult. Overall, the hotel's charm and service stood out, but improvements in comfort and accessibility would enhance the experience significantly.

Cozy room and super helpful staff
I had a lovely stay with cozy rooms that had everything I needed for a short trip. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even helping us with bags and providing fresh water every morning. I appreciated having a cafe nearby where I could grab a coffee and pastry, and the location was super convenient with the metro just a few blocks away. Just a heads up, the absence of an elevator means you'll have to tackle some steep stairs to reach the rooms.

The location is convenient, providing quick access to public transport and nearby eateries. The espresso drinks in the morning were a highlight, showcasing the barista's skills. However, the noise from the street made it challenging to get a good night's rest, and the room felt a bit cramped for comfort. Additionally, the stairs can be daunting for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues, making accessibility a concern.
